Oliver's First Easter

What a fun day it was!! We woke up and I fed Oliver and then we were going to go to church but Oliver fell asleep in our bed with me so I wanted to snuggle him.  I woke up at 8:15, got ready for church and then Cory gave me an Easter basket.  What a fun basket he had for me with candy, a sign from rod works, and a St. Louis Cardinals baseball tee! I love it! We will have to take Oliver to a baseball game for sure!

Oliver also gave me some onesies that say I love you Mommy etc.  Love it!

Oliver woke up at 8:45 (nice 2 hour cat nap he took) and we got him ready for church.  Him and Cory had matching ties!

We got to church at 9:20 and Oliver ate from 9:20-10:40.  Mass started at 10. 

After church I gave Cory his Easter basket ( a shirt, jerkey, candy, socks, and vitamin water)

Then I fed Oliver, we had a snack and then showed Oliver his easter basket.  He loved it! He liked looking at the pictures on the books, he absolutely loves his green rattle bunny, and the thumper bunny he just stared at it and petted his fur.  SO CUTE!

Then we were off to get a car battery for my car and some starbucks. 

Next we got to my parents and had dinner and hung out with Pat, Marie, and the Hollows. 

Oliver loved his little Cardinal bird from Pat (she has started a bird collection for him and is going to take him birding.)  Everyone loved Oliver and could not get enough of him, he was tired by the end of the  night. 

It was 10:30 before he went to bed... YIKES! He slept pretty good though.  He slept till 1, woke up at 4 a couple of times for his binky, we put him in rock n play next to our bed and he slept till 6! :)

I hope Oliver had as much fun on his first Easter as we did!! :)

What a little blessing, he  makes me smile everyday!
