Here is the bump in relation to months! ~

Office * craft room*loft sneak peak

Here is a sneak peak of the office, craft room, and loft.  I will do more formal posts as they get completely finished. The office is for the most part finished, the loft will turn into a playroom when the baby gets older, and the craft room is finished it just needs some decorating and some more organizing.  I have already used the craft room so many times, I love it! Cory did a great job!!!

Spreading the News

After being pregnant for 9 months, I forgot to share how we actually told everyone that we were pregnant.  It was so fun, I felt like every week we were telling someone new and everyone was always so excited!

I went in for a blood test to confirm pregnancy, I got the call at 12:45 on May 1st.  This moment was huge! I kept asking her are you for real??  I wanted to tell Cory right away, but I was already meeting him at the Research Park after work so I decided to wait to tell him in person.  Hardest thing ever especially since he was texting me all day long!!

My first graders kept asking me why I was smiling so much.  They were like you smile so big! Some of them said I bet she is having a baby! Kids know stuff its crazy! They asked if I would be this happy the rest of my life and I said YES!

I left work at 3:10 and wen to Target looking for that Big Sister onesie that I saw a million times, but of course couldn't find it.  I ran home made a sign that said I'm a big sister. Grabbed some water, a snack, and the dog, and headed to the park.  I forgot Stella's leash so he had to get her out of the car, she had the sign attached to her collar.  He was like, "Are you serious?" He was so excited and could not stop hugging and kissing me.

Then we went to Safeway to buy baby bottles.  We went to my parents and my mom already made dinner, I was like let's just go to Serranos you can have that tomorrow night. They agreed, that never happens!!

We went early and gave the bottles to the manager they said grandma, grandpa, uncle mark, aunt molly on them.  He gave them to the server to hand them out.

My Mom cried, my brother didn't get it, molly said I knew it!, My Dad said Cory your stuff is good!
So inappropriate but funny.

On the way home I called my cousin Jenny and Kelly they were so excited!

As soon as we got home we set up the computer and skyped Cory's parents.  We made a sign that said, "You are grandparents again!" They were both so excited!!! We called Cory's siblings as well, it took a few days to get a hold of some of them but they were all happy!

Then I called Elizabeth like 20 times because she wouldn't answer.  She was screaming she was so excited.

What A Day, It was Perfect! Everything worked out how it was supposed to.

I went to bed exhausted from all of the excitement but we said our prayers thanking God over and over for blessing me with this child.

I kept going to the doctor making sure my HCG levels were rising and they were! I don't care if we have a boy or girl I just want the baby to be healthy and I couldn't wait to be done with the first trimester.

It was so hard not to tell people that I was pregnant.  People were even asking more than usual, "so when are you and Cory going to have  kids?"

At 8 weeks we told Pat and the Hollows that we were having a baby.

Also at 8 weeks we told St. Louis, Texas, North Dakatoa family & friends that we were pregnant.

At 10 weeks I accidently told my friend Nicole.

At 13 weeks I told everyone else except for some people at work.

What an exciting time in life!!

Happy New Year!

I hope everyone had a relaxing and safe New Years.  As for us we sure did.  We went to dinner with friends and then came home and watched TV in bed while enjoying sparkling cider and listening to the fireworks echoing through the neighborhood.  The next day we went and got a donut, continued working on cleaning & organizing the office and loft and then had people over to celebrate my sister's birthday.  We ended the evening with scrabble, popcorn, skittles, and HGTV! 3 of my friends got engaged this past week so that is very exciting, and only means lots of weddings in the next year or so!

It is crazy how much has happened in 2013, last year at this time I would have never thought our family would be where we are today.

2013 was great we bought a new house, took a trip to Sint Marteen, and best of all found out that we were pregnant!

In 2014 we are looking forward to meeting this baby!

In 2014 my resolutions are to keep things simple (not so many to do lists) and spend time with family.  I really want to watch my little boy grow very closely and spend time relaxing and having fun as a family of 3.

Happy New Year!!~
