Making our home "homey"

We have been busy around here with company in town and all sorts of things! Cory is working on installing laminate floor, baseboards, and quarter rounds in the living and dining room.  He should be done soon, so look forward to that post!

Also, our kitchen is done however I am still decorating it and creating things to put up on top of the cabinets. We still need to find cabinet knobs as well. That post will be coming soon as well.

Next Steps (for now): Plant flowers in backyard, clean out/organize garage, craft room creation! Can't wait for that one!

Here are some of the pictures I hung up the past few weeks. I am sure these pictures will be showcased again when we put up before/after pics of all of the rooms.

Just like it says, "With God, All Things are Possible" Cory and I try to remember this daily in all that we do.

I ♥ our front door!

It is one nice door!

Another favorite part of our house... I love how when you walk in the front door and turn left immediatley behind you is a guest room and bathroom.  Don't our floors look lovely?  We decided to lay it heringbow to be more unique.

This is a picture Cory got me as a house warming gift from our first house.  We love to dance!  I do at least...
Bridal Party!

I am obsessed with flowers and bright colors so I needed to have some color in this little hallway.

I love it!

Here are some other flower pictures from our old house.

Nook on the stairs.  It is a picture of us, our parents, and both sets of both of our grandparents on their wedding day.  How special is this?

I love photos, especially photo walls. Here our pictures from wedding, honeymoon, other vacations, and more!  Our weddng invitation is in purple and all of the half marathons we have done together in pink.  We've done 3... I thinks its time for more! There are also pictures of one of our favorite places San Fran, CA and our dream trip to Greece.

I thought it was approproate to hang it above our backdoor.

We try to make our house a piece of paradise.  We got this in Costa Rica on our honeymoon.

Here are some photos hung in our kitchen.  Wine, heartshaped hands, and the
Corinthians prayer which was read at our wedding.

I forgot to Thank Cory for all of his hard work.  He did most of the hanging.

Inspired

Leftover centerpiee materials from our wedding.  As you can see we love being married and we love our wedding.

So there you have it.
Have a wonderful week!

Getting Crafty!

I LOVE doing crafts of any kind.  It is one of my favorite hobbies. I first started doing crafts when Cory and I started dating.  Then I discovered Pinterest and found many more things to try and make.  Doing crafts helps me to relax and think.  I love giving Cory home made crafts for our anniversaries, his birthday, and holidays.  Here are some things that I have made recently and I am sure there will be many more to come.  Oh, and of course when I unpack more and find things that I have already made I will post those later.  I can't wait for summer when I can craft away. I am hoping to learn to sew a little this summer too.

                                                      The Bucket List!

I bought this old frame at Hobby Lobby for $20 (50% off) I purchased the chicken wire at hope depot for $8.  The cute bucket and clothes pins I also got at Hobby Lobby.
Cory and I love doing things together: traveling, exercising, sporting events, and much more! As you can see we have already finished 4 and it is only April! We went to a spring training game, an island (Sint Maarten), hiked San Tan Mountains and South Mountain.
Now we get to have fun finishing the rest... of course we always go on walks, bike rides, and do house stuff, but we are not putting them in the bucket until we have gone on a 5 mile or more walk and a 20 mile bike ride to my parents that we try to do every year.  The house, that will be on going forever but we love it!

Family Time

I fell in love with this frame at Hobby Lobby and bought it on sale for $25. The wire, clothespins, scrapbook paper, buttons, flowers, and decor all came from Hobby Lobby as well.  It was probably $60 total to make this.

Cory and I are both very family oriented people not only do we love spending time with each other but our families as well.

Downstairs Bathroom Re Model

The past few weeks we have been working hard on the bathroom.  I painted it the same color green as our master bath in our old house.  We were not planning on remodeling this bathroom for 3-5 more years but when we put granite in our kitchen we had extra so we decided to put it in the bathroom.  We were really excited about the cute vessel sink.  We took out the light and all the fixtures and changed it up with some oil rubbed bronze.  So here you have it....
