Weaning :(

Its been almost a month since the last time I breastfed Oliver!!! Weaning was awful for me, but  now I am all better and Oliver is doing great! I originally decided to wean in November after mastitis and plug ducts for a month straight.  But I just started cutting out feedings really slowly. By his birthday I was at 4 a day.  Then about a week before we left he had his last feeding.  I was so engorged for almost 2 weeks!!! I let him eat the night before we left and the day after we came home for relief.  I tried cabbage, cold packs, hot packs, tight sports bra... NOTHING! lol the only thing that worked was time,  Needless today, next time around I plan on weaning even slower so hopefully I wont be engorged for 2 weeks! I miss those sweet moments with my babe but I still enjoy watching him grow!! He used to always play with my necklace and my hair.  Hed hold my hand and touch my face.  It was so cute!!! Love my little Oliver.
