Here is what a typical day looks like:
Sometime between 6:30-8am he wakes up. Of he wakes up on the earlier side, I will feed him and then try to put him back to sleep for another hour or two. Sometimes I cuddle with him on the couch or in bed if he does not want to sleep. Other times we just get our day started! It all just depends.
Playtime & Tummy Time
Oliver naps in his swing or rock in play while I pump, shower, and eat breakfast.
Around 10am he wakes up and eats
Then we read books and play in his play yard until about 11:30
He naps in his swing until about 1:00
1:00 he eats again and then hang out in his bouncer and listen to music and do some more tummy time.
2:30- he goes down for another nap in his swing and then he eats around 4.
After he eats we have more tummy time, play, and sing songs.
He takes another nap around 5:30 when Cory is getting home from work.
At 7:00 Cory feeds him and plays with him.
At 8:00 we go for a walk while he sleeps in his stroller
Between 9-9:30 I feed him and then we do his bedtime routine which consists of changing him, giving him his vitamins, reading Goodnight Moon or Goodnight Missouri and saying our prayers.
By the time he actually goes to sleep it is usually closer to 11pm after we go in hum to him, rub his belly, and give him his binky.
Around 3-5am he will wake up to eat quick and then goes back to sleep.
I would say we have it pretty good, I can't complain about 6-7 hours a sleep on average a night. It may not be straight through but I can only assume that it will continue to get better as he gets older (MAYBE) lol It is funny how someone who loves to sleep (ME) so much can get used to this amount of sleep. This is nothing compared to the first 4-5 weeks where he would eat every 2-3 hours (a total of 12 times/day usually)
I love this little guy and can't wait to keep documenting how his routines change based on his growth and his needs.
