Settling in....

Welcome to my blog! We are truly blessed and we love our new home. It couldn't have worked out more perfectly.

 I never thought I would have a blog but I am using it to pass the time and enjoy creating our new home! January 4th until now we have done a lot to our house. We have unloaded a gigantic moving truck, cleaned everything from the inside of cubboards to the baseboards.                                                                                                                                          

We put in new floor downstairs
granite downstairs
painted living/dining room
crown molding in living/dining room
bathroom paint
bathroom backsplach and fixtures
kitchen backsplash and fixtures
cleaned up yard
replaced shower head in master
hung pictures

Although we have done a lot sometimes I feel like we have so much to do still.  It was not until this past weekend that we finally got pictures up on our wall, now is is feeling a little more like ours. 

Our new problem= we have no furniture but oh well.... one step at a time we cant buy everything at once. 

*We had about 4 weekends where we did not work on the house due to our anniversary, Cory's Birthday, and our trip to Sint Maarteen.

Bedroom #3- paint color will change and it will become my craft room.  I am so excited! Cory is going to build it all for me!

Bedroom #4 is downstairs it is the guest room.  Please come and stay with us! We will also be painting this room.

Family Room- The floor in here will be put in our living/dining room too.

 

We plan on tackling the downstairs first, I am hosting a bridal shower in August so that needs to be done for that. 

 

Cory and I take pride in doing things ourselves. Yes hired help can be easy and quick but it can also be expensive and then you can't look around and say, "hey! I did good!" We obviously could not do the floor and granite ourselves but we will be doing everything else oursleves as much as we can.
